I was looking for Ina’s recipe as well - Thank you Sara for posting it. And came upon this new product from Barefoot Contessa available at Stonewall Kitchen.

I am thinking they carry the mix at the same store I bought my actual cupcake, and the 5 Star Chocolate bar. For those of you in the Chicago area its called Fox and Obel.

Now I’m hungry.

More on Sheila’s Dream Bar

So I went right to the source and wrote Potbelly’s Sandwich Works to find out more about Sheila’s Dream Bar.

Now you can tell from the pictures that I bought one to carefully look for the coconut that Sara insisted is part of the recipe, but I also wrote the good folks at Potbelly’s to get to the bottom of the wonderful treat.

I also wanted to know who the heck Sheila was!

This is the letter I got back from them:

Hey Rob ~

Thanks for writing. You really do love our Dream Bars! Alright, I’ll tell you everything I know about them. Sheila is our CEO, Bryant Keil’s, wife and she is the originator of this fantastic treat. Yes it does have coconut. Unfortunately I cannot divulge the secrets behind the goodness that make up Shelia’s Dream Bar. She keeps close tabs on that recipe.

HMDWL 6

This episode finds Rob and Sara loving mojitos, gmail spam recipes, and digital cameras.

Mojito
5 tablespoons superfine sugar
8 ounces light or dark rum
12 whole mint leaves
2 cups crushed ice
2 cups club soda
6 slices lime

Place the sugar, rum and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Shake well until sugar dissolves. Fill 6 tall colorful glasses with crushed ice. Add club soda to each glass and stir. Garnish each with a slice of lime.

Vineyard Spam Salad
Serves 6
1 can SPAM Luncheon Meat, cubed
2/3 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tb Lime juice
1 t Dry mustard
2 c Seedless grapes
1 c Peapods, cut in half
1/2 c Thinly sliced red onion

In skillet, saute SPAM over high heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly; set aside. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, lime juice, and dry mustard. In large bowl, combine grapes, SPAM, peapods, and onion. Toss with mayonnaise mixture. Cover and chill 1 hour. Serves 6
