Kristopher will kill me if I listen to this before he gets here! He LOVES your show.

But wait, did you say game night??? Sara, you live WAY too far away!

OK, this is totally bugging me now. EVERYONE in my third grade class had that super-shiny lipgloss that came in the weird roll-on. All I could find was this, which I totally recognize, too, but what’s that other one?!

How can you not have mentioned Apples to Apples?! It’s the big hit at game night here. This friend of mine, Sooz, actually has a monthly game night at a bar, and it’s SOOOO FUN!

Kristopher thinks Rob is drunk! Is he right?

  3. July 28th, 2006 | 4:49 pm

Sadly, no, that’s just Rob. He was only about 1/2 way through a bloody mary. :)

I’ve never played Apples to Apples, but I’ve heard good things about it. It’s on the list!

And yes, the roll-on lip gloss thing is bugging me too. I’ll ask my big sister, she might remember.

    *waves to Kristopher* (cute!)

I LOVE game night! We use to have a “reunion” game night around New Years every year with a bunch of friends who only really saw each other then. Sadly, that tradition is no more. :( First went out for a line or two of bowling, then we’d come back and play games like Monopoly or Risk. Usually never more than that because either can take hours to finish.

Apples to Apples is okay, but not my favorite. Clue is another big one that hasn’t been mentioned. But Yahtzee was a big fave in college, as was backgammon and cribbage.

I’m pretty sure it’s called Kissing Potion. I bought some a few years ago, but in the end it seemed silly. I really didn’t want my lips THAT shiny.

I was going to tell you the name of the bean game, but I see in the next episode you got it. I have that game too.

My favorite game night game has to be Taboo. Hilarity always ensues. :)

    We love the game night!

We play Phase 10 if we have 6 or fewer people. We’ve also been loving the “Uno Attack” game which you can play with a bigger group. I introduced some friends to another game called “Imaginiff” which can be a lot of fun with 6-8 people.

I LOVE Dr. Pepper lip smackers!!! At its cheap. 1.39 at my local grocery store. I’m a lip-smacker-aholic, and have to say its their best flavor ever. However, they used to have a mint-chocolate chip one a few years back that was a close tie for first. And it was sparkly.
