HMDWL 101! Tonight we say a very sad farewell to Herbert, recap the holidays, and love the Kitchen-Aid mixer ice cream attachment, Rob’s new Cuisinart food processor, long-term practical jokes, standing dates, playing it forward at Akoha.com, and the movie Clue.

Sally, thanks so much for the Akoha mention! I love the restaurant story! We are, in fact, based out of Canada (in Montreal), but Akoha is really about the people playing the game. That's where all the interesting stuff happens, and it's happening all over the world, from Australia, to Africa to North and South America!
You can reach out to me anytime if you have any questions. My Akoha profile is at http://www.akoha.com/people/sean.
Thanks again!

I love Clue! When I tell people I'm gonna watch it I always get a blank expression. Half the people I know didn't even know it was a movie.
Happy New Year HMDWL!

We have this crazy ugly plaque thing (3D brass moose in a woodland scene) that I originally got from my late great Grandmother for Christmas years ago. I immediately wrapped it back up and gave it to my sister for her January birthday. Since then, it’s been passed around from person to person on various special occasions. My fave was when my folks visited a couple of years ago, and they swapped one of the photos on our photo wall in our spare room for the moose, and we didn’t notice for months.
