Sara, did you actually say "Snicker Salad"? Do I even want to know what that is?
Deviled eggs = Good eatin'!
P.S. I also love that your cocktail matches your hair in the new pic.

I love deviled eggs. Here in dallas they are on the menu at a restaurant called Kitchen 1924. The have ones with ham in one, salmon in one (which is so good) and I have had pruchetta mixed in the creamy yellow goodness.
here check out this website http://www.deviledeggs.com/
Freecycle is also good. I got a bike once there (lost in a storm called Katrina after passing it on to a friend)

hi guys – long time listener, first time poster…
i love the show, but i've never shouted 'YES' in public when i listened to it…until now.
i absolutely LOVE freecycle, and unfortunately am something of an evangelical about it…on the other hand, when i bought a run-down 120-year-old-house that didn't have appliances, i got nearly-new stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal when i needed to put in a kitchen. the best part of freecycle (indeed, the reason it even exists) is that it diverts useable items from landfills. it's a good thing, martha.
how much do i love this podcast…

Hey Michael – yes Sara did indeed say "Snickers Salad"
Snickers Salad has become somewhat of a joke between Sara and I as to what Iowa food is.
Snickers Salad is a real thing and is often found at church suppers amongst some of the more tacky church suppers.
The recipe:
6 SNICKERS® candy bars, chopped in sm. squares
6 Granny Smith green apples, chopped in sm. pieces
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
mix, chill, serve as desert or salad or as a helper in getting Type-2 Diabetes.
It is a real thing. I'm not sure – but I think we mentioned it in Episode 20 as well, when we were talking about cookbooks and specifically church cookbooks.

Rob, I think I went into sugar shock just READING that recipe…

Can I just tell you how funny it was that you went off on the tangent about music related items (scarves, note pads, etc.) I teach music in an elementary school and today began the onslaught of these horrible items. I can't tell you how many of these "treasures" I've recieved over the 13 years that I've been teaching. I'm sure that the parents and students think that I've never seen anything SOOOO cute in my entire life… Blech!
Been listening for a little while and I've gotta tell you, I love the show. You two have such a great chemistry! Look forward to future episodes.

Love the post! Just curious, was one of you filing your fingernails during the recording of the podcast?

So I know I am WAAAYYYY behind…long story of technological catastrophes. And I am a little OCD about listening to ALL my podcasts. I had to comment on the deviled egg plates-my Mother believes in getting use out of all the assorted ones she has accumulated over the years-and since it is easter time: She uses one to serve/display her Jelly Bellies…sorted by flavor. OK so the OCD kinda runs in the family….
